NYFW, the time when ever blogger, model and creative try put on their best of the best. Little do most know, it doesn't require new threads or breaking the wallet to have a stylish and trendy look...

There are a few pieces that always win during fashion week. Leather jacket, loose trousers, and a scarf. These are my go to 3 pieces that always answer the call when in a fashion week rush between shows or launch parties.

Leather or faux leather is an easy bargain shop. Normally ranging from $50 to $150 you can get a solid and durable jacket. One thing to remember is that, these jackets aren't always mean to keep you uber warm. In fact, most or really for the style alone. Which ultimately is the reason for the scarf. A huge oversized scarf will turn your short wind breaking jacket into a comfy insulated fashion statement.

Next is the harem pant, or hammer pant or monk pant. So many names lol but all the same. Harem pants are so easy and comfy I wear them at home just lounging around. And the bonus is the price point literally can be $10 bucks up to $100. However, it averages under $40 for most places. I really love harempants.com for their variety and epic price point but you can find these bad boys everyone online. During fashion week having a different fashion statement is key..and with harem pants its a slim chance you will have the same as someone else because the design can be different by one stitch alteration.
